This project involved the end-to-end design, installation, and configuration of a robust and scalable network infrastructure using Ubiquiti UniFi networking products. The goal was to provide seamless, high-performance connectivity for a medium-sized office environment, supporting both wired and wireless devices with a focus on security, reliability, and ease of management.

The Brief
Deploy a centralized network infrastructure leveraging Ubiquiti UniFi access points, switches, and security gateways.

Our Approach
The project started with a comprehensive site survey to assess building layout, materials, and potential sources of wireless interference. Based on this analysis, strategic locations were selected for UniFi access points to maximize coverage and bandwidth efficiency. The wired backbone utilized UniFi switches with Power over Ethernet (PoE) capabilities, reducing the need for additional power supplies and simplifying cabling requirements.
Security was a key focus, with the Ubiquiti UniFi Security Gateway implemented to handle firewall policies, VPN access, and intrusion detection/prevention systems. Network segmentation was established through VLANs to separate guest networks, internal office devices, and critical business systems, minimizing risks of unauthorized access.
The UniFi Controller software was deployed on-site, enabling centralized network administration through an intuitive interface. This allowed real-time monitoring, firmware updates, and configuration changes without physical intervention, significantly reducing maintenance overhead.

- Achieved stable, high-speed Wi-Fi connectivity across the entire office space, supporting over 350 concurrent devices without performance degradation.
